Textiles, to us, are not just materials but representations of culture and status through time. We consider textiles as both design and art pieces. By incorporating architectural structures into our fabrication process and graphic making, we challenge the human body as a moving architecture. The space between each layer can create dynamic volumes, silhouettes, shades, and shadows. Engaging the environment in the presentation of our garments, we use transparent and translucent techniques to incorporate the atmosphere and background colors into the garment itself.
